new beginnings

Before I start, let me give a shout out to my homie Kevin Anthony!!! ha ha. and dana too.
So a lot of new things going on these days. I started an awesome job, making more money than I've ever made before! INCREASE. School just started and I'm taking 10 credit hours (I only have 18 total left) Piano is going very well--I'm learning a lot ofnew gospel/Christian songs, campus ministry is about to start back up, I'm watching doors open to lead those around me into the kingdom, and we have this cool new neighbor named Mark at our cool new apartment. I really enjoy the new apartment. It's 2 bedroom, the kitchen has a bar area where we have stools, plus a dining area, and a very spacious living room, and a balcony. There's also a lot of storage space.
I decided to take the membership and believers classes at Word of Faith so I could become an official member. And, I'm started to get cooler/closer with the people at church. I'm really enjoying myself. I'm also formulating a new savings and debt freedom plan for my finances now that I got some consistent income coming through.

travel plans: well, there on a hold at least for a couple of months to I get the finances a little more stable. But I gotta go to STL in October to see my new niece being born: Mariah Catherine!

back to class

I spent most of today in my auntie's 6th grade classroom. SHe starts school next week, and needed help decorating. It was fun. One of the janitors tried to holla at me. I told him I had a man, and started asking him about his church attendance. What was crazy was that dude was actually from Detroit. I said years ago I'd never date another man from Detroit.
ANywho, I also went to goodwill today and bought some pink shoes for 3 dollars. then i went to church, and it was holy ghost off the hook. It reminded me of a grace word of faith combo. i like life christian.
last, i hung out with my boy jon lamar. He's one of those friends that it doesn't matter when the last time was you saw each other, you just pick it up where you left off with no problem. I have about a handful of those types of friends. Everyone couldn't handle it. : )

HoLy GhOsT iN st.LoUIs

It's cool to be home and see my fam. I miss everyone. I haven't been to my spots yet, and i haven't visited my homies yet, but i have a few more days to handle that. I gotta hit up THE LOOP, gotta get to my favorite thrift store, and I gotta eat at Pasta House. Then I gotta renew my license plates, and go to West County Mall, and down to the river. After that, i will have hit up all my spots. I've really been in chill mode since I got here. Some interesting things going on in the fam, but I'm kind of on a mission while I'm here, just like eveywhere else I go.

I've been eating a lot of good food, and I went to Life Christian Church--Joyce Meyer's old church.

back in Michigan

So I'm back. ughh : ). I must say, I do miss Jersey. Monday, I left work at noon and went to the beach. It was great!! I got in the water a little bit. The water was a little chilly. The sun was beaming, and it was a whole lot of people there. I collected some rocks from the beach to add to my collection. I love the beach!!!
Tuesday, I said my good byes to everyone at the office. It was kind of sad. A guy from the office gave me and essex county prosecutor's bag. I got a kiss on the cheek. I forgot to turn in a resignation though. One of the chief prosecutors told me to call him when I get ready to take the bar.
Tuesday night, one of the detectives from the office took me out ot Macaroni Grill, I guess for a "good bye dinner." It was fun though. We talked about a lot of stuff, and the food was really good. I said bye to my roomie Alise, Kentisha, and pretty much everyone I met. I didn't say bye to my old homie from the tennis court though. Hopefully, when I go back to visit Jersey I'll roll to the tennis court and check him out.
